Tuatha Dea Combining primal rhythms, melodic and ethereal ballads, screaming guitar riffs with an Appalachian/Celtic vibe this family born of a family drum circle delivers an authentic tribal and clannish feel that not only draws the audience into the music but into the moment and clan as well.
In 2017 Tuatha Dea became part of The New Bristol Sessions, a collaboration celebrating the historic 1927 Sessions along with folks like Dolly Parton, Virginia Ground, 49 Winchester and more!
Their rhythmic groove and interaction naturally inspires audience participation which has become a staple of their performances. From the beginning the band has embraced its Celtic heritage and meshed the traditional music of Scotland and Ireland with their own bold blend of mainstream rock, mountain drumming and Appalachian blues to produce a truly unique sound that has a universal appeal! Dubbed “The Eclectic Steam-Punk Partridge Family in Kilts and Corsets” and “The Appalachian Fae”, this band is real family!!!
In 2014, the band released their 4th CD which is associated with the novels of recognized published Sci-Fi- Fantasy Author for Tor Publishing, Alex Bledsoe.
The Ville Band Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, The Ville Band has been in the game for a good minute. Founded by James Gilley (drums), Nate Wiles (then bassist), and Kevin Moore (lead guitar), in 2015 the band has gone through hills and valleys ultimately leading them to their current band roster. In late 2017, Josh Cottrell segued to session player for the band as McKenlan James steps in as lead vocalist. The Band is the Go-To Top 40 Band while they are continuing to record and cultivate a unique and original indie pop blend of music. You can catch The Ville Band playing all over East Tennessee. We are thrilled to announce that Knoxville’s favorite comedian, Leanne Morgan, has honored us by being our grand marshal. Our 2020 parade is going to be hilariously beautiful!
Leanne Morgan exudes southern charm. She is a naturally funny story teller who gives an honest look at suburban life and the challenges of keeping her husband happy while juggling kids, dogs and cheerleading camp at the same time she’s racing to get her hair highlighted, have a colonoscopy and join weight watchers for the 7th time! Leanne will take you on a hilarious journey through motherhood and beyond as she finds comedy amidst the chaos.
Leanne’s funny but honest point of view has earned her spots on the Dr. Phil show as part of his “advice panel.” She’s also worked with Paula Deen both “Live” in theaters as well as numerous appearances on her cooking shows. Leanne was chosen by The View as one of their most hilarious housewife’s and she was a finalist on Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom in America. She has also had contracts with Warner Brothers and ABC to develop a sitcom based on her comedy and is currently collaborating with writer/producer Matt Williams (“Roseanne,” “Home Improvement”) and Lionsgate on a ½ hour sitcom.
Leanne is heard daily on Sirius / XM Comedy Channels and has appeared in comedy clubs, performing arts centers, and theatres across the country. In addition to her solo stand up career, she toured with the “Southern Fried Chicks” for three years and is currently part of a new comedy tour called “Country Cool.”
