Congratulations to Sydney Jabaley, recipient of this year’s Knox St. Patrick’s Parade John and Pat McLaughlin Scholarship. The McLaughlins founded the St. Patrick’s Day parade in the 80s. We’re honored to award this scholarship to a deserving high school senior in their memory, chosen with care and love by the McLaughlin family.

The scholarship was presented by Knox St. Patrick’s Parade co-founders Chandle Turbyville and Christy Watkins, and Sue Greer, the McLaughlins’ eldest child.

As Sue so beautifully put it, “Irish eyes are smiling from Heaven.”
